Side 7
Phaser Head

The original name for this character was Scatter Brain and then I switched it to Phaser Head. This Neon Empire resident was apart of the original force that was used by Neon Empire against Robbin's Rest at an earlier event. A platoon of G-15 units were designed to fight off this new undead threat. Unfortunately, it was an utter failure and few robots survived the slaughter.

The surviving robots were scrapped and the G-15 units ceased to exist, except Phaser Head. So, in a sense he is a relic from the first encounter with Robbin's Rest's undead. G-15 were deemed unpractical against the undead due to their slow movement and stockpile of weaponry, and they were discontinued. With that being said, Phaser Head has a stockpile of countless weaponry that can level a small city.

Phaser Head is cool and collected. His personality exceed the usual Neon Empire residence, and he is very cocky in the heat of battle, casually throwing remarks in threatening situations. He could very well be the Robotic version of Hopkins. They have a friendly rival type relationship and seem to go back beyond the current mission. Phaser Head respects Hopkins ability to deal with Hamvitch, as they're both disgusted with him.

Phaser Head also collects rare oils as a hobby.

Mathew Hopkins

Hopkins has been pushed to the limits in his career. He is a retired vampire hunter. Although he doesn't act like it, Hopkins always has any situation under control and within his abilities. If not, he will backtrack and re-group until he can figure it out. He has been "hired"(more like forced at gunpoint) by Neon Empire to stomp out the undead threat.

His support crew is: Hamvitch, Phaser Head, and Bones(He will be revealed later)

Hopkins is a celebrity of sorts, due to having apprenticed under a legendary vampire hunter that could defeat undead with a simple crack of his whip. He has a common respect with Phaser Head. It should also be noted that Hopkins is in love with his axe, using it in the third person, kissing, and talking to it often. "Why would you ever need a woman, when you can have a piece of heaven at your hip?"

His weapon the "Neck Wrecker" has decapitated many ghastly zombies, werewolves, and vampires. Too many to count. Hamvitch and Phaser Head tease Hopkins for using such primitive weaponry to fight against the undead. Holy cross, stakes, garlic, etc. Little do they know these are ideal for fighting forsaken creatures.

Hopkins is designed off the famous witch hunter matthew hopkins. Hopkins has stayed true to his design one way or another. He was originally designed as leader of a group of thieves infiltrating Neon Empire. He could speak to animals and control them in combat and talked very little. I never used any of this and I dropped the concept. The original support crew can be found in Robbin's Rest just hanging around.

I also sketched out that Hopkins would use a giant chain cross whip, but I decided the axe was more appropriate.

Dr Gregory Hamvitch

A long time resident of Neon Empire with class A citizenship. This allows him to openly work in Neon Empire. Hamvitch is the director of Weapons Development in Neon Empire. Unlike most scientists who tinker and obsess over their work, Hamvitch is more involved with the finer things in life: exotic jewelry, the most expensive clothes, food, the creme de la creme.

In the circle of scientists human and robotic, there is a constant struggle of power for funding. Normally, Hamvitch would never be in the field, but somehow other scientists who have conspired to take his position have found a way to put him in Hopkins support unit.

Hamvitch is a weapons designer, so it should be noted that he will have nothing to do with robotics. You won't be seeing him repairing anything outside of a funky weapon. Hamvitch is overweight and an IQ of 299, he is constantly being talked down by Hopkins(Who can't stand him). In his younger years Hamvitch tried to amass his success as a tarot wizard but failed miserably.

Hamvitch is designed based off Palmer from Final Fantasy 7. Perhaps the most underrated character in the game.
